Who provides the service

These terms are between you and Barreto Tech (Norwegian organisation number 922923086), Sølvspennetunet 56, 4032 Stavanger, Norway — "we". Contact:[email protected].

What they cover

• Our websites, including barreto.work.
• Barreto Tech Social, our internal social media publishing tool — a self-hosted instance of the open-source Postizapplication, made available only to Barreto Tech and to the owners of the businesses whose social media accounts we manage. It is not a public service and has no public sign-up.

Using Barreto Tech Social

Access is by invitation. If you have been given an account, you agree to:

• connect only social media accounts that you own or are authorised to manage;
• follow the terms and community guidelines of each platform you publish to (TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn and others) — content published through the tool is published in your name and under those platforms' rules;
• publish only content you have the rights to, and no content that is unlawful, misleading or harmful;
• keep your login credentials to yourself and tell us promptly if you believe they were compromised.

You may disconnect any account at any time from inside the tool or from the platform's own settings. We may suspend access that breaches these terms or a platform's policies.

Content and accounts

You keep all rights to the content you create and the accounts you connect. You grant us only what is needed to operate the tool for you: to store your drafts and media and to send them to the platforms you have chosen, when you have scheduled them. We claim no ownership of, and no licence to reuse, your content.

Availability and liability

The tool is provided as is, on infrastructure we operate ourselves. We aim to keep it available and backed up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and a platform may reject or delay a post for reasons outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability towards you is limited to providing the service with reasonable care; we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost engagement or revenue.

How we handle personal data is described in ourPrivacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest revision, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Norwegian law applies, and disputes are handled by the courts of Stavanger, Norway, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
